What is the difference between a super trawler and a multitude of small vessels. Super trawlers don’t have to return to port just because they can’t hold any more. Seems obvious enough but what comes next is the relentless pursuit of a particular school of fish till it’s gone or something better comes along. A clean sweep.

The northern hemisphere fisheries are fished out so now these factory ships want to come down and rape our oceans too, We need to protect, study and manage our ocean resources NOW to save them for our future generations. ACT NOW.

We take and we take from the ocean, destruction from this method of fishing has wiped out other waters around the world, with this factual knowledge a dumbed down Australia invites others to come and repeat it here, no consideration for future generations and the existing businesses that rely on a healthy fishery. I hope all the lies told and under the table deals eventuate to the surface, so those who supported this disgraceful situation can be made aware to the public. Sleep well you crooks.

Something needs to be done to stop these trawlers now. There is no way that fish stocks can be sustained with the way they they clean out everything.They have absolutely no regard for the environment or anything else for that matter.

This vessel does not belong here, or anywhere! Get rid of it with Legislation ,quickly and forever!

Please give us a choice between our local candidates. I spoke to our labor member (Gai Brodtmann) and she is supportive. No need to write to her. But the liberal candidate for the Senate is in a difficult position, and I would like to address the request to him.
